As many members are aware, the Building Commission has been conducting site inspections including in regional areas. Many members have been penalised for not including address details on site signs. 

This led to questions about whether this is actually required under legislation. The Building Commission has confirmed that the builder's name, address, and contact details are required to be on site signs. Importantly, while your trading name can appear on the sign, the name of the business that holds your Builder's License must appear along with the registered business address.
