The awards cover the Tweed, North Coast, Mid North Coast and New England Regions.

Who can enter?
The Master Builders Association invites nominations from MBA members and non-members who reside in or have completed a project in these regions. All types of projects may enter the Awards; quality small renovations to eye catching large commercial projects are encouraged to nominate.
Individual awards are also presented at the gala evening, recognising the special contributions of Apprentices, Women in Building, Subcontractors, and Young Builders within the industry.
When do entries open?
2026 entries will open October 2025 with an exact date to be confirmed.
How do I enter?
All entries are required to be submitted and managed via our online Awards Force Platform.
To successfully submit your entry, you are required to do the following:
1. Register an account with Award Force.
Please click here.
2. Please select 2026 Northern Regions Excellence in Building Awards and start your entry (you can save it as 'In progress').
3. Submit your entry no later than the closing date.

The minimal time and effort to complete an award entry is easily outweighed by the benefits of winning. The marketing exposure and branding opportunities are endless.
When are the 2026 winners announced?
The black tie Gala Awards Night, date and location tbc.
The event is the regions premier industry night of nights. Featuring an amazing array of superb creations in both the commercial and residential sectors by the best builders in the region.
