Since 1 January 2010, modern awards have covered most workplaces. Modern awards establish one set of minimum conditions for employers and employees across Australia who work in the same industries and occupations.
The minimum wages and conditions an employee is entitled to are set out in the awards below. Awards don't apply when an employee has an enterprise agreement or other registered agreement and the employee is covered by it.
