Well, what an extraordinary year it has been! It will be forever known as the year that has changed the way we live, work, and learn. It is fair to say that we are all looking forward to leaving 2020 behind and starting afresh in 2021.

If you could describe 2020 in 1 word, what will it be? For Master Builders Education and Skills Development, that word would be ‘unpredictable’.
Thankfully, the outlook for 2021 and beyond is positive. Our economy is already displaying strong indications that we are now emerging from the Covid-19 recession. And the Federal Government has now extended the HomeBuilder program to drive demand for new homes and renovations.

So, the question now is ‘What plans have you put in place to prepare your business for the economic recovery and future growth?’

You might be asking,

  • Should I expand my business capabilities?
  • Could I put on another apprentice or two?
  • How do I improve my administration processes?
  • Do my team have the right skills and training to support the business?
  • Do I need to improve my own business management skills?
  • How can I improve work, health, and safety?
  • How can I plan for business growth?

Reach your business goals with Master Builders Education and Skills Development.  We are dedicated to delivering you a range of training courses to help you unlock barriers to business growth.

“There’s no reason to believe that you can’t learn online. In 2020, we made a monumental shift in the way that we deliver education by moving many of our existing courses to online. We also launched many new online courses. Students have responded positively to this shift in course delivery. With flexible education options, our learning outcomes and student experiences have significantly improved." says Brian Seidler, Executive Director of Master Builders NSW.

In 2021 we will continue to offer, develop, and deliver a range of online courses that meet the needs of our industry. All these courses attract CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points. By enrolling into any of our courses you could earn up to 12 CPD points, which is your annual licence requirement. If a partner, business associate or staff member also attends a course, you can accumulate up to four extra CPD points. Extra CPD points can carry over to your next year's requirement.

How to gain your CPD points early in 2021?

During the holiday downtime, wherever you are, why not brush up on some skills. All you need is:

  • Access to a computer, laptop, or tablet
  • Internet connection (broadband or 4G minimum)
  • Web browser; Chrome or Firefox
  • Speakers and/or Headphones

To access our online courses during the Christmas break, you must enrol by 22nd December 2020. Members get special members course fees, which saves you about 10-15% off the RRP. We will grant you your points from January 2021 onwards.

CPD made easier!

Our range of industry dedicated online courses makes earning CPD points easy! And best of all you have the flexibility and convenience to gain CPD points anywhere and anytime. The recorded lessons are interactive, using animation, characters, storyline, and videos to present information. They are generally only 1 hour long and may include quiz questions. A few of them are games, where you are able to learn by being a character in a movie. The information is presented using animation, characters, videos and case studies. We aim to give you interesting learning, which is engaging, enjoyable and dare we say it  . . .  actually fun!

Each course takes about 1 hour and earns you 1 CPD point. For only $50 each.
