Brickwork is a strong feature throughout the station, represented both internally and externally through precast concrete panels or in situ brickwork. The brick façade is a unique design that allows for ventilation of the tunnels and station, The brick façade up to level 1(street awning level) was installed as precast brick panels, above level 1 the ‘brick sticks’ were laid by hand. The quality of the brickwork is exceptional and a testament to the project team is coordinating all the installation and structural detailing. Well done to all involved.
