The structure has predominantly been built using Glue-Laminated Timber (GLT) and Cross Laminated Timber (CLT). The use of these materials significantly reduced the estimated upfront carbon emissions, aligning with the project’s sustainability objectives while achieving a low embodied carbon design. All structural timber was sustainably sourced from certified Chain of Custody schemes (FSC/PEFC). Taylor worked with suppliers to procure locally sourced timber glulam from Victoria for the project. The Glue-Lam beams throughout the building together with the timber ceiling linings, column linings, internal timber framed doors and windows provide a wonderful office environment. Taylor have delivered a high-quality building.
