This high quality project is the headquarters for Audi Australia and comprises of an eight storey 16,000sqm facility incorporating flagship retail showroom, business centre, cafe  and an after sales centre/service centre.
The project required that the basement be constructed in water charged ground. Dewatering had to be undertaken to ensure equilibrium of the water table preventing subsidence to surrounding areas. The lift pits were precast concrete overcoming the need to form, reinforce and concrete them in water charged ground.
The fitout of the building includes high class, commercial modern finishes, built to Audi’s worldwide standards. Curved walls, large open areas and high ceilings are all distinctive features of the building. Several floor finishes were used, including tiling, concrete sealing, carpet tiling, rubber flooring and “Flowcrete” granulated epoxy flooring.
The use of high class external cladding being a hexagonally punched corrugated aluminium decorative facade system and full height glazing added to the challenges faced but resulted in high class product.
