This project consisted of creating 5,600 square metres of floor space for a new Data Facility with associated plant and administration areas adjacent to the existing Equinix SY01 Data Centre at a cost of $35.8Million.
Construction consisted of a conversion of an existing warehouse and loading dock/warehouse together with an all new two level plantroom building.  Highly complex services have been installed, in an N+1 configuration required by the specified redundancy of this Data Facility.
The total project was completed in 10 months without disruption to the adjacent operating data facility.
