This contract required the builder to design and construct a 10,000m2 roof over the existing livestock sale yards.  Water tanks with a 500,000 litre holding capacity were also installed to harvest the roof water.
The structure is screw piles with concrete footings, lightweight structural frame with sandwich panel roofing.
Full public access had to be maintained on sale days.
To give an idea as to the scale of this roof, on mornings when there is a frost, 20,000 litres of water is collected! 
The work was completed in 29 weeks.
