The project demonstrated a strong commitment to safety through design, supported by 88 workshops involving consultants, subcontractors and the client to address high-risk construction work. Innovative solutions included a 10kPa-rated protection deck over escalators to safeguard the public and maintain customer access, and integrating perimeter handrails into the steel structure to eliminate hazards. These measures reflect a proactive approach to safety planning and practical problem-solving throughout construction.
