Multiplex has delivered a substantial redevelopment of the Chatswood Chase Shopping Centre while maintaining operations within the lower-level food court and David Jones throughout construction.
The project presented significant access and logistical challenges, with considerable constraints associated with keeping the existing retail areas and car park operational. Multiplex also had to maintain the shopping centre’s weatherproofing while undertaking major roof, skylight and façade upgrades, together with resolving a few complex structural issues.
Despite these challenges, the team successfully managed the works with minimal disruption to ongoing operations. The completed project represents a significant improvement to the shopping centre and is a credit to the Multiplex team. The quality of construction and finishes is excellent.
