The project was broken into 7 separable portions over a 7.5ha site. Portions 1-3 comprised all teaching and external play spaces. Portions 4-7 compromised the location of FFE, removal of existing demountable buildings and the construction of community gardens and piazza. The project for Sydney Catholic Schools was constructed through economic uncertainty and unprecedented climatic conditions in the industry. As a result, significant changes to the original intent of the project were required to meet the client’s needs. This outstanding project is a testament to all stakeholders and the project team in delivering a quality outcome for future generations.
