Another Difficult site with restricted access in a very deep excavation, requiring creative materials handing solutions to move material & equipment from street level to the station level, using a cable car system. Incorporating 19 escalators & 14 lifts giving access to the station level up to 52m below street level, with pedestrian walkways at both ends of the 170m long island platform.  The site included a number of innovative solutions to achieve the final result. A great level of finish on a very restricted site.  Lend Lease can be proud of their achievement and the finished product.
