The project delivered a new K–6 school and shared community facilities within a dense urban precinct, requiring careful planning, disciplined safety systems and collaborative delivery. Hutchinson successfully delivered the complex design to a high standard on a constrained site.
The school showcases design excellence through outdoor learning spaces, shared facilities and flexible teaching environments. Key architectural features include a suspended Flex brick terracotta façade system, Indigenous artwork and a distinctive palette of off-form Class 2 in-situ concrete finishes.
The project sets a benchmark for shared-use education infrastructure, providing a high-quality, flexible learning environment and lasting value for students and the growing community.
