Woolooware Shores is a large Anglican Retirement Village complex constructed over several years. Most recently Growthbuilt has constructed stages 6, 7 & 8, comprising 183 retirement units and 48 nursing home beds across 6 individual buildings, all averaging approx. 5 stories in height. The site faced significant challenges due to its location, including contaminated land, high water table, riparian concerns, an existing high voltage line and sensitive ecological concerns. The builder has met Anglicare’s needs and through Early Contractor Involvement and completion of progressive stages, the company has produced a large and high quality lifestyle village for Over 55’s.
