The ‘Ascent on Bourke’ project is an impressive industrial facility located at the intersection of Gardner’s Road and Bourke Road, Alexandria. The project encompasses more than 30,000 sqm over three levels with high clearance warehouse space on Level 1 assessable by B-double trucks. Up two levels the roof provides carparking spaces for 200 cars. This was a massive project and the FDC team had to overcome very poor ground conditions which required extensive remediation prior to any building work taking place. The finished building is aesthetically pleasing and the project is a credit to the whole construction team.
