The Sydney Flight Training Centre is a purpose-built facility that will support flight and cabin crew training for Qantas and other airlines with a fleet of full motion flight simulators and auxiliary equipment. A most challenging site located adjacent to an 1887 heritage listed drainage canal, coupled with difficult ground conditions necessitated a proactive structural redesign. A very innovative and well delivered project, a credit to the project team.
