The refurbishment works over 3 levels provided new amenities and facilities for the private members club whilst maintaining the original heritage details and visual amenity.  Access and material handling were extremely challenging. The club remained fully operational throughout the project, which included functions, events and overnight accommodation. All demolition material was manually handled in wheelie bins down through the fire stairs within the building. Storage of materials was limited, in which Carfax employed a delivery to install approach and this was conveyed to their contractors. Carfax successfully completed this difficult project without compromising the outstanding level of finish and client satisfaction.
