This bold contemporary and functional home pushed the boundaries for the builder and the designer alike. The residence is minimalist in design, featuring clean lines, square shapes and sharp angles that create a dramatic statement both internally and externally. This is a very tight category however the judges were tipped by the application of colour. This highlights the form of the building and the acrylic render made a feature of the dark window frames, complemented by the dark stone-look tile cladding and the featured timber cladding, adding warmth.
