The School of Electrical Engineering building incorporates five teaching laboratories, student project labs, offices and a seminar room. A defining feature was the highly complex façade system comprising five distinct façade types, requiring extensive coordination with the architect and engineer to achieve a seamless architectural outcome and ensure long-term maintainability.
The feature glass lift and stair design, together with major Sydney Water works, presented additional challenges requiring extensive design coordination and finalisation. Through disciplined planning and close stakeholder collaboration, Buildcorp delivered the project to programme with minimal disruption, providing the university with a robust, functional and durable facility designed to support future teaching and research needs.
