These townhouses are two storey plus a bedroom and ensuite in the attic, with garages underneath excavated into the sloping site.  A major challenge to the construction was supporting the adjoining heritage listed house on stone footings.  It was overcome by drilling buttress piles 8 metres deep into the sandstone footings at 2 metre centres with the intermediate piles keyed into the rock.
