Walter Read and John Thompson Reserve Project
This most unusual project involved the structural stabilisation restoration and new construction work to convert the historic Paddington Reservoir into public open space.   The 2,000m2 site was in a state of abandonment and structurally unsafe.   The works included the removal of derelict service station equipment and remediation of the site, also stabilisation and reconstruction of the collapsed brick vaulted roof.  Extensive landscaping and streetscape works were required over the site and along Oxford Street and Oatley Road.
The end result is an impressive new park and open space for the local residents.
