This new eight level, 16,800m2 research centre has two basement levels, four open plan wet laboratory levels and two levels of executive offices, meeting rooms and open plan workstation areas.
All laboratory areas have been designed to “physical containment” requirements.
The façade features a curved glazed curtain wall with shaped pre-cast concrete elements; the façade also extends to the adjacent facility of Medicine Building.
This is a most impressive university research facility.
