This project was the conversion of the existing roof space void of a terrace house to accommodate a bedroom and ensuite.  The Builder overcame the problem of maintaining the existing air conditioning without sacrificing headroom by sealing selected pairs of floor joists to serve as ducting to the ceiling below.
