Silica Awareness & Safety Training is now compulsory for workers involved in high-risk processing of crystalline silica substances or at risk of exposure to respirable crystalline silica dust. 

Silica Awareness Training became a WHS legislative requirement that came into effect 1 Sept 2024. 


 

Who should attend? 

Any workers involved in processing of a crystalline silica substance (CSS) that is high risk; or who is at risk of exposure to respirable crystalline silica (RCS) because of that processing.
