WHAT IS A 4-DAY TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT WORKSHOP?

Improve your existing renovating skills with the experts at the Master Builders purpose-built training facility.

In just 4-days of attendance, you will learn the practical processes of coordinating renovation projects and how to achieve the best outcomes for your clients.

During the 4-days of attendance, you will be assessed through knowledge questions, practical observations and a portfolio of evidence.

Upon successful completion, you could be on your pathway to a renovation licence.

IS THIS TRAINING FOR ME?

To enrol in this course you must have the following entry requirements:

  • a minimum of one years full-time (or equivalent) kitchen, bathroom and laundry renovation related experience in the construction industry (experience must be within the last 10 years)
  • a valid White Card (General Construction Induction card)
  • currently working on active related projects
  • Must provide details of two referees to confirm your work history/experience. Referees must be a qualified/licenced tradesperson in one of the above-mentioned trades and/or Cabinet Making and have worked with you for 12 months or more
  • able to answer at least 65% of the technical industry questions correctly during your application process.

HOW LONG IS THIS COURSE?

This program is designed to be completed within 4 days over 2 x weekends.

Master Builders Association provide the Nationally recognised units of competency required to meet part of the Fair Trading NSW criteria to apply for a Kitchen, Bathroom and Laundry Renovator Contractor Licence.
