The CPC50210 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) course is designed to enable potential builders and others in the industry to improve their business skills and technical knowledge so that they can successfully manage their building and construction business and projects.

The qualification has core units of competency requirements that cover common skills for the construction industry. The industry requires general employability skills such as:

To enrol in this course you must have the following entry requirements:        

• a minimum of three (3) years full-time (or equivalent) experience in the building and construction industry (experience must be within the last 10 years).
• Recommended to have a minimum of six (6) months supervisory experience 
• a valid White Card (General Construction Induction card)
• hold a current Contractor’s Licence, industry qualification OR are able to provide the details of two (2) referees that have worked with you for 12 months or more and can confirm your work history / experience (Referees must be a current licenced builder, construction manager or site foreman)
• access to medium rise building and construction projects
• able to answer at least 65% of the technical industry questions correctly during your application process.

• This program is designed to be completed within 12 months.
• The suggested commitment to studying is 5-8 hours per week.
• The interactive online tutorials are scheduled as 2-hour sessions on weekday afternoons and evenings.

According to the Standards for RTOs 2015, at no stage will Master Builders charge more than $1,500 in advance of services being provided. Please note, relevant fees must be paid in full prior to progressing from one stage to the next. All participant fees are GST exempt.
