WHAT IS AN ONLINE TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT WORKSHOP?

This program includes 4 two-hour online tutorials with a practical one-day workshop. You can choose to attend the practical one-day workshop or provide us with video and photographic evidence. The one-day workshop is designed for you to demonstrate your experience in fabricating and installing furniture. Upon successful completion you will achieve a Statement of Attainment in for the units of competency completed from the MSF31113 Certificate III in Cabinet Making qualification.

IS THIS TRAINING FOR ME?

To enrol in this course you must have the following entry requirements:

  • a minimum of one year’s full-time (or equivalent) kitchen, bathroom, and laundry renovation related experience in the construction industry (experience must be within the last 10 years)
  • a valid White Card (General Construction Induction card)
  • currently working on active related projects
  • Must provide details of two referees to confirm your work history/experience. Referees must be a qualified/licenced tradesperson in one of the above-mentioned trades and/or Cabinet Making and have worked with you for 12 months or more
  • able to answer at least 65% of the technical industry questions correctly during your application process.

HOW LONG IS THIS COURSE?

In just 3 months, you will learn the practical processes of coordinating renovation projects and how to achieve the best outcomes for your clients.

Master Builders Association provide the Nationally recognised units of competency required to meet part of the Fair Trading NSW criteria to apply for a Kitchen, Bathroom and Laundry Renovator Contractor Licence.
