Designed specifically for the industry for demolition workers who manually or mechanically demolish existing buildings and man-made structures to clear the land for re-build, re-use or renovation. Also ideal for renovators, builders and site supervisors who need to be involved directly with demolition for their residential and commercial building projects.
With a focus on health and safety, the course meets the training requirements of SafeWork NSW. With suitable previous work experience and the successful completion of this course you could be on the pathway to a Demolition licence.

Please note: The price that appears on this course webpage refers to an enrolment fee of $1,500.00 which is required to be paid prior to course commencement. A fee schedule will also be provided to indicate the total cost of fees for payment throughout the course.

According to the Standards for RTOs 2015, at no stage will Master Builders charge more than $1,500 in advance of services being provided.

To enrol in this course you must have the following entry requirements:  

  • Minimum of 3 years full-time experience in demolition within the last 10 years and currently working on demolition projects                                                                                        
  • Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience in the building and construction industry
  • Currently working on demolition sites (require access to at least two large demolition projects throughout your course, one of which must have a structure more than 15 metres in height) 
  • Access to plant and hold relevant licences / VOC for at least two of the following: dozer, earthmoving equipment, forklift, loaders, trucks or windrow turner.
  • Valid White Card (general construction induction card)
  • Provide details of 2 qualified/licensed referees within the same field to confirm your work history/experience who have worked with you for 12 months or more 
  • Answer at least 65% of the technical industry questions correctly during your application process

Master Builders Association provide the Nationally recognised units of competency required to meet the SafeWork NSW training requirements to apply for a Licence.
