| This year’s Master Builder of the Year has demonstrated all the qualities required to be awarded the very best of all the MBA’s builders: passion for his work, commitment to the industry, superb workmanship, innovation in construction techniques employed, awareness of environmental considerations and excellent teamwork with other trades as well as clients.
A recipient of past MBA Excellence in Housing awards, this regionally based builder is ably assisted by his wife, a skilled team of supervisors, foreman, carpenters as well as administrative staff and has been building architect designed homes since 1997. His entries in previous MBA Housing Awards are always characterized by excellent attention to every detail of the projects which incorporate not only the physical building process and the ability to overcome major construction obstacles but also his relationship with sub-contractors, architects and clients.
This year’s Master Builder of the Year winning project illustrates the company’s ability to overcome numerous site and construction difficulties whilst achieving an environmentally sustainable, low impact outcome for the client. Furthermore, when no trades could be sourced that were able to construct a certain detail in the home, the builder built the element himself. |
