Judge's Comment:
A narrow lap pool ideal for limited areas and confined areas. A mirror feature wall increases the feeling of space and reflection of water is peaceful - it can be seen from the home through the glass fencing. The dark blue interior is NZ white pebble and dark blue dye, complete with paved surrounds. A creative, contemporary design.

This pool was designed for night entertainment, complete with heating and fibreoptic lighting that makes the sheer descent waterfall dazzle in various shades. The interior is finished with Royal Blue Quartzon and sandstone surrounds complete the formal setting. This dazzling design is ideal for swimming laps or wading/lounging in the large entry areas. Excellent work.

Judge's Comment:
A feature lap pool constructed in a very limited space. The pool is adjacent to the main driveway of the residence. To achieve width in the pool, part of the driveway had to be cut away. The design of the pool incorporates long, flowing curves, which blend perfectly into the Harry Seidler-designed residence. The pool walls were extended up along the driveway side, to form a concrete barrier along the driveway, so there were no mishaps with cars deciding to go for a swim. The perfect way to complement a house of this calibre.

Judge's Comment:
A resort-style pool complete with internal spa, large step area and tiled sheer descent water feature with statues on top. The alluring blue interior is finished with hand-applied NZ white pebble, an aztec tile band and terracotta coping surrounds. This design is ideal for wading as well as laps for fitness. The sounds of running water is very tranquil with the addition of flowing pots and sheer descent water wall. Very Gold Coast!
