The Master Builders Apprenticeship Service is an easy way to take on Apprentices and remove the burden of paperwork for wages, allowances, workers’ compensation and superannuation, allowing training employers to invest their time in the supervision of the apprentice.
The Master Builders make it as simple as possible for builders and subcontractors to take on apprentices:
• Our Apprentices are carefully selected;
• Paperwork and payroll is handled on the training employer’s behalf;
• Support is provided by a dedicated team of field officers for the training
employer and apprentice; and
• Apprentices are educated by the safety and recruitment team to take safety issues seriously
Aboriginal Participation in Construction
Aboriginal participation is a requirement of many standard Government contracts to encourage and support more employment and business opportunities for Aboriginals on Government projects.
The Master Builders Apprenticeship Service has established support systems to ensure the interest of Aboriginal apprentices and host employers are comprehensively accommodated. Master Builders has close relationships with local Aboriginal communities and job network providers to attract potential apprentices and trainees for employment.
