• Become an Apprentice

ABOUT THE MASTER BUILDERS ASSOCIATION GROUP SCHEME:

Group training is where Australian Apprentices are employed under an agreement with the Master Builders. The Master Builders manages the quality of training and provides pastoral care for the Australian Apprentice.

A training employer provides the job, and the Master Builders takes care of all contractual requirements. Training employers are businesses that require the labour and skills of an Australian Apprentice and in return provide the training and guidance required for a particular trade. Training employers allow paid time off to attend any formal training such as TAFE that may be required.

Master Builders Group Scheme is committed to the principle of merit and equity by ensuring that all applicants are selected under the guidelines and principles of Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO) and Equal Opportunity for the Women in the Workplace (EOWA) programs.

    We provide: -

    • Award wages and conditions
    • A safe working environment free from any form of harassment
    • Arrange and monitor the on- and off-the-job training
    • Arrange rotations to broaden training opportunities
    • Regular monitoring, support and guidance
    • Arrange alternate work placements when required
