• Apprenticeship

The Master Builders Apprenticeship Service is a full-time employment based training program that provides an opportunity to learn all aspects of a trade in the building and construction industry.

The apprentice is employed by the Association and outsourced to builders and subcontractors on a rotational basis to provide workplace-training experience. It is a uniquely Australian service aimed at providing builders and subcontractors with apprentices in the building and construction industry.

Since the formation of the Apprenticeship Scheme in 1977, over 8000 Apprentices have graduated from the Master Builders program throughout NSW.

The Master Builders Apprenticeship Service supports over 30 trades across Residential, Commercial and Civil sectors and has branches in Sydney, Albury, Ballina, Gosford, Port Macquarie and Ulladulla.

Also, for more than 20 years Master Builders have been recognising the best apprentices in the industry through the annual Apprentice of the Year Awards.
