Modern award information on increases in wages and allowances in regard to awards commonly used by employers in the building and construction industry.
Fair Work Australia has determined that minimum wage rates in Modern Awards will be increased by 2.9% with effect from the beginning of the first full pay period to commence on or after 1 July 2012.
Fair Work Australia also reviewed a range of expense related allowances contained in Modern Awards and linked them to various statistical series of the Consumer Price Index.
