• About Us

The St George Division hold their Divisional Information Nights on the third Tuesday of the month (bi-monthly) beginning in February of each year. The Dinner meetings are held at the Bexley Golf Club, Stoney Creek Road, Kingsgrove. The dinners are a 6.30pm arrival for a 7.00pm dinner.

These Divisional Information Nights bring industry experts to the region and allow members to stay up to date with local industry issues and legislation. These nights enable members to have a strong voice in local issues and provide a conduit for escalation that can influence industry and government decisions.  It also provides opportunities to collect CPD points for builders in maintaining their licence.

The Divisional Committee hold their committee meetings on the alternate months to the Divisional Information Nights. These are still held on the third Tuesday of the month at 7.00pm and members are also welcome to attend.  Informal meetings are also held every Monday at 4.00pm should the members have any queries. These meetings are held at the St George Divisional Office, located at 69a/23 MacMahon Street, Hurstville.

The St George Division donate copies of the 'Acceptable Standards of Domestic Construction' to the first year carpentry students at Chullora TAFE and award a 4th year carpentry apprentice in conjunction with Harrison's Timber n Hardware each year. An Award is also given to the top student in Certificate IV at St George TAFE of each year.
